The post-apocalypse is here in Call of Duty®: Mobile Season 2 — Heavy Metal. Introducing the Diesel Multiplayer map, the mech-style Goliath Clash! Multiplayer mode, the new Ravager Launcher Battle Royale class, and more. This new season promises epic action and plentiful rewards.

Season 2: Heavy Metal launches on February 22 at 4 PM PT. Here is what’s ahead:

The Heavy Metal Battle Pass: New Free Weapon and Perk

The Heavy Metal Battle Pass features free and premium items, including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional COD Points to spend on your next Premium Pass or Store purchase.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

Get your hands on the new Maddox Assault Rifle, first seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 and unlocked at Tier 21 in the Battle Pass. Featuring a high fire rate, minimal recoil, and an extended magazine, the Maddox is perfect for mobile suppressive tactics. Additionally, unlock the Perk – Unit Support at Tier 14; this valuable new Perk earns you progress toward your next Killstreak and Operator Skill every time someone on your team eliminates an enemy player. Other free tier highlights include a variety of camos, Weapon Blueprints, and the DR-H – Deadman’s Hand  at Tier 50.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchase the Premium Pass for the chance to earn all the content available in the Heavy Metal stream. Get post-apocalyptic-themed Operator Skins like The Marshall, Deadman, Domino — Intimidation Tactics, and Beck — Spray Paint. Melt your foes with Premium Tier Weapon Blueprints like the QXR — DEAD-54, HBra3 — Steel Carnage, SP-R 208 — Wild West, and the Koshka — Ironclad Enforcer. You can also earn the Maddox — Aerodynamic, a Blueprint featuring Season 2’s new free weapon.

Battle Pass Subscription: Join the Ground Forces by purchasing a Battle Pass Subscription. In addition to gaining access to the full Battle Pass, you’ll also earn extra rewards each season, along with a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, plus limited discounts on 10x crate pulls.

Season 2’s Ground Forces rewards include the Wraith — Death Metal Operator Skin, the Rytec AMR — Hell Bound Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack 2 — Ebony Commander.

Multiplayer: New Map and Modes

Heavy Metal is ramping up the chaos with the new Diesel Multiplayer map and two new modes, Goliath Clash! and Chaos Control:

Diesel: First seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War, Diesel takes players to a run-down gas station situated under the scorching desert sun. Battle in and around the station and nearby stores, traversing between mid- to long-ranged battles in the open and tight-knit skirmishes inside. The players who can best navigate in and out of the various buildings — switching their Loadouts throughout the match to keep up with the changing tide of battle — will find the most success.

Goliath Clash!: Deploy into the match as a Goliath and fight against other mechs in a Domination-style mode where players battle over three capture points on the map. Capturing a point rewards a battery drop, which players can collect to further upgrade their Goliath’s abilities.

Goliaths can be improved with Blue, Red, and Silver power upgrades, offering the following buffs:

Blue: Get a Melee weapon with improved damage and a new slide skill along with faster movement speed.

Red: Equip the Purifier, plus get a health boost and a reduction to all incoming damage.

Silver: Gain enhanced firepower along with a damage and health boost.

Chaos Control: This variant of Control features no limit to the number of lives available to each team, allowing a much more aggressive playstyle that rewards taking risks and making big plays.

New Battle Royale Class

Ravager Launcher: Add some oomph to your combat potential using the new Ravager Launcher class. Using the class’s base ability, deploy a time-limited Sentry Turret that automatically attacks enemies within range. When upgraded, the Sentry Turret fires high-damage missiles capable of locking on to vehicles. Note that these turrets can be destroyed, so consider their placement in relation to the enemy on deployment.

New Themed Event: Black Gold Brawl

Take on daily challenges across Multiplayer and Battle Royale to help extract the fuel needed to carry on your operations. Keep drilling for more fuel throughout the event to progress along the reward track. Complete your missions each day to unlock the final event rewards, including the S36 – Vengeful Clucks and Captain Park – Party Camo.

Limited Time Ticket Store Open Through March 12

Continuing on from Season 1, earn Limited Time Tickets (LTT) as a reward for completing various seasonal events, as well as for eliminating enemies in Battle Royale. Spend your tickets in the LTT Store to earn content like new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and more. The LTT Store’s final day is March 12, so get those tickets and unlock more rewards now.

New Seasonal Challenges and Featured Events

Heavy Metal will feature new Seasonal Challenges and Events rewarding Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Battle Pass XP, and more. As part of Season 2’s rewards, get a new signature underbarrel attachment:

New Signature Attachment: Equip the Underbarrel Grenade Launcher to the M4 for an explosive alternate attack that’s perfect for dislodging enemy groups and clearing objective points.

Check the in-game Events tab throughout the season for more info, including Daily Mission rewards and the items you can earn in the new Monthly Login.

Store Update: New Legendary Character Draw

Nyx — Starstruck: The Atlas Corporation’s undercover assassin employs her pop star identity to travel the world and eliminate targets. Along with other themed items in the Draw is Nyx’s coveted HS0405 — Songstress Blueprint, which doubles as a musical instrument when performing onstage.

Other Draws featured in Season 2 include:

Demir — Dark Spell: The dark and enigmatic Demir has joined the mercenary world under a new identity based on his recent delving into magic. Head into battle with his steampunk-styled Legendary GKS — Mystic Cards, also available in the Draw.

Sophia — Sand Dune: Makarov’s former protégé enters the battle equipped with the Legendary Fennec — Corrupted Light, a prototype Blueprint she acquired on exiting Makarov’s compound and also available within the Draw.

Killgore — Vengeful Flames: As long as the pay is good and his targets are challenging, Killgore will take the job. He lives for the thrill of combat and uses his experiences to compose songs that communicate the realities of war, the smell of death, and the screams of the vanquished. Get shredding with the Legendary M4 — Iron Song, a guitar-shaped Blueprint reminiscent of the most glamourous metal bands.

Battle Pass Vault: Season 2 expands the Battle Pass Vault with access to Spurned and Burned, featuring Epic Operator Skins Morte — Conciliatore, Scarlett Rhodes — Carmine, Alex — Bounty Hunter, and Scylla — Dusted. Earn Blueprints you missed out on like the M4 — Spurred, Razorback — Stirrup, AGR 556 — Western Crown, and the RUS-79U — Wretched.

Season 2: Heavy Metal launches on Call of Duty: Mobile at 4 PM PT on February 22.
